Layoff Wave all over the World because of Financial Crisis

Chrysler announced to lay off 5,000 employees
According to U.S. media reports this morning, as the deepening global , car sales continue to decline, the U.S. car maker Chrysler Corporation announced to dismiss a quarter of employees (referring to the labor contract providing a monthly salary or an annual salary). This number will reach to 5,000.

Technology Companies lay off 19,700 people in September
Under the influence of , the technology companies have laid off 19,683 employees, whereas 13,809 people were announced last week, they are mainly: Xerox : 3,000; Daptiv : 21; Haute Secure : 3; Cake Financial : 6; Mercent : 6; Dell : 8,900 people; imeem : 20; Mahalo : 6; TicketMaster : 300; Eons : 8; Veoh : 15; Yahoo : 1,500; Wikia : 3; Meraki : 10; Break.com : 11 people, etc.

To deal with the financial tsunami, a quarter of American companies lay off employees to lower the cost
Watson Wyatt Worldwide in middle October made a survey on 248 U.S. companies. The result showed that one-third of the companies plan to discuss on wages and benefits issues with employees, 26% of the company plans to lay off the employees, while 25% of the companies may stop recruiting new employees.
